What is BYOC?

BYOC means bring your own cloud. The provider operates the sandbox platform, and the sandboxes run inside your own cloud account.

Updated

Why teams ask for it

The code and the data stay in an account the team controls. The compute appears on the team's own cloud bill, where existing discounts and limits apply.

How it differs from self-hosting

With BYOC the provider still runs the platform. With self-hosting you install and run the software yourself. BYOC is often part of an enterprise plan.
